VATICAN CITY - February 24,2013, Catholics were caught off guard by the news of the Pope Benedict XVI, the first Pope in recent history, after the "great refusal" of Celestine V in 1294, from February 28, 2013, will leave the throne of San Pietro. Joseph Ratzinger leaves his office because, he says, no longer up for health reasons. The news goes around the world, there is amazement, disbelief, between the faithfuls and tourists.
