Catalan police is seen vacating the young people partying and making spontaneous drinking gatherings, known as "botellones", in the Barceloneta beach in Barcelona, Spain, on July 18, 2021. The Catalan government ordered a new curfew from 00.30 till 6.00am after a surge in the contagion rate, especially among young unvaccinated people, due also to the spread of the new COVID-19 delta variant. The new restrictions are expected to hit the hospitality industry and curb its hopes to recover after more than a year of closure, as they only leave the possibility to use outdoors terraces and forbid indoors dancefloors.
