Montegiordano, Italia - 28 giugno 2015 - I pezzi della Chiesa del Carmine smantellata per essere ricostruita nel cortile del Museo di Arte Moderna PS1 nel Queens, New York dall´artista italiano Francesco Vezzoli. Il progetto non è mai stato approvato e i pezzi della chiesa, tornati indietro, rischiano ora di essere distrutti.

ITALY - Pieces of the church of Madonna del Carmine in Montegiordano, southern Italy, on June 28, 2015. The 19th-century church was scheduled to be rebuilt brick-by-brick in the courtyard of the Museum of Modern Art PS1 in Queens, New York City by Italian artist Francesco Vezzoli, but the Italian Archaeological Superintendency did not authorise the project. After to be back in Montegiordano the pieces were blocked for six months at the Gioia Tauro Harbour. And now, after one year, the church is destroyed without possibility to be rebuilt.
